hello, that's me!

born and raised in italy, went to uni in england, took a year off to travel and eventually settled in brussels, where i live with boyfriend and baby (also known as: the little backpacker).

the travel bug first hit me when i heard a friend's stories about his interrail trip. i was completely sold on the idea and the next summer i packed my first backpack and lugged it around eastern europe for a month. i've been hooked to travelling ever since, with 66 countries visited so far and many more i'd like to see !

what can you find on this website? travel pictures and info files for most countries i've been to; round the world travel info; the baby's blog if you have the password; and whenever i'll find some time, a section about things to do in and around brussels.

please note that the travel info files are updated at the time when i visited the country, so please check before you rely on them! actually i like having them in their original version as it shows both how countries and how my own travel style have changed over time. but do keep it in mind before you go searching for the restaurant in tallinn with the old russian railway signs where i ate in 1998. (i actually tried, and of course it's gone).
